What is the Architectural Design Committee?

The Architectural Design Committee (ADC) is a group of McKinley Village residents who are appointed by the Board of Directors to review home, backyard, and community improvement requests. The ADC strives to uphold the McKinley Village Covenants and CC&Rs while also taking into account the unique needs and desires of the McKinley Village community.

What kinds of improvements need ADC approval?

Examples of improvements that require ADC approval include, but are not limited to:

– Adding or removing structures from your home or yard

– Making changes to the exterior of your home or yard, such as painting, siding, roofing, etc.

– Installing new fences, decks, or patios

– Landscaping changes

How do I submit a request for ADC approval?

To submit a request for ADC approval, please fill out the online form. Once you have submitted the form, a member of the ADC will review your request and get back to you ASAP.

What if my request is denied by the ADC?

If your request is denied by the ADC, you may appeal the decision to the Board of Directors. To appeal the decision, please email the committee for further guidance.

What happens if my request is denied?

If your request is denied, and or you have further questions regarding how to proceed please email the committee
